GreenVision is the centre of expertise of Wageningen UR for computer vision. The mission statement of GreenVision is to offer concrete image analysis solutions for products with a large natural variation in the agrifood industry.
Computer vision is a technology to determine the inner- and outer quality of a product objectively with use of camera systems and software. To this end a product is recorded using one or more cameras. Quality aspects such as colour, size, shape, defects, firmness, ripeness and sickness indicators are determined with our software. GreenVision cooperates with machine manufacturers to handle the inspected products in a fully automated, robotized way.
